Smoothie Saturday

Last weekend we decided to make some smoothies for breakfast. Both girls had a part in making them! Gwen washed the fruit, Ailish chopped it, and Mommy blended. Yum-Yum!!!!

Ailish Goes to the Movies

Ailish and I went to see The Princess and the Frog!!! It had been out in theaters for a little while, but since the holidays were so busy and then it would snow over the weekend, we just couldn't make it out. I was so afraid that we weren't going to make it before it left the theaters!
She was so excited that she was running to the theater when we got there. When we were walking past all of the promotion posters, she slowed down to look. (The posters are so big compared to her.) The seats tended to flip up on her when she moved but I don't know if she really wanted to. She was watching the screen so intently. At one point, she leaned over to me and whispered, "Thank you, Momma!"
She loved it!

Gwen's 3rd Birthday

Happy Birthday to Gwen!
We celebrated on the 29th with a yummy chocolate cupcake that the girls shared. Gwen even blew out her candle this year!
When the holidays were officially over, we had family over for a party. The theme was picked out by Gwen all by herself. She wanted a "pet shop" cake and picked out Hello Kitty decorations. She was so cute. We went to Party City and she walked up and down the aisles to look at all the different decorations. Then she went back through the aisles to pick out the decorations she wanted.

Christmas 2009

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!
This Christmas, we were very busy for the holiday. First we went to Grammy and Grampy's house to celebrate. The kids loved seeing the family together! We had lots of fun watching the kids rip into the gifts!
Of course, there's always going to be a really good blackmail picture involved when the family gets together!!!
(Hmmm...I wonder what I should ask for to take this picture down.)
The girls looked over their Christmas morning presents before tearing into them! It goes so fast!!!
Then we went to Nana's house the next day. Nana and the girls played with a new tea set together. Then they made a gingerbread house together.
